Fixing text copied from PDFs
When you copy from a PDF, every line of the page usually ends with a hard line break, and long words can be split with a hyphen. Pasting that into an email or document gives ragged lines. Keep paragraphs joins the lines inside each paragraph while keeping the blank lines between paragraphs, and the hyphen option rejoins split words. Hyphens in real compound words such as well-known are kept because they are not at a line end.
